Biography:

 Maya Hill began her classical guitar studies

at the age of eight with Professor Slavko Olujic

 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

She relocated to Canada in 1995 where

she continued her studies in music at the

University of Manitoba under Professor Richard

Tyborowski.  Maya received her Bachelor's

Degree from the University of Manitoba in 2000

and her Master's Degree from the

University of Arizona in 2002 as a student of

Professor Tom Patterson.

During her music studies (1984-2003),

Maya was a recipient of numerous scholarships

and awards.
